They also perform imaging examinations that are responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality diagnostic image is produced. With additional training and/or advanced degrees, a therapist has career opportunities in a variety of areas such as medical physics, dosimetry, and management. Opportunities also exist in the field of training and sales for major vendors of radiation therapy equipment.

⚱️ Funeral Service Education
City Park’s Funeral Service Education is the only program in Southeastern Louisiana to meet the needs of Louisiana and surrounding states. The 72 credit-hour program leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree and prepares the student for entry-level employment. Students gain practical experience in the various techniques of embalming through the use of modern facilities at local funeral homes, in addition to classroom work. The duration of this program is 24 months.

A graduate of the program will have both a theoretical and practical knowledge of the construction, application, properties, operation, and limitations of engineering systems and processes. All courses in the ELET Program consist of theory and laboratory applications. The program emphasizes three areas: Instrumentation and Process Control, Electrical Power, and Electronics.
