Lord Farquaad's castle in “Shrek” was modeled after our library when a student from here went to work for Disney as an animator.

-The only place on campus that has a MAC lab free for all students to use
-The "fish bowl" is an enclosed glass room that is the perfect quiet study bubble.

The Mary and John Gray Library is the highest building on campus you are able to view all of campus from the 8th floor.
Our 8th floor of the library also known as the "Presidential Floor" host exclusive events throughout the year such as: White Coat ceremony for our nursing majors, LU ambassador events, trainings, career fairs, and donor meet and greets with scholarship recipients.
Fun fact: If you are ever looking for a wedding venue, the 8th floor is known to host some of the best wedding receptions in Southeast Texas!
