A Few of Our Academic Resources
- Students are advised by faculty, who work with them for course selection, provide guidance about curricular and co-curricular opportunities, and then become their mentors as students advance in their Knox career.
- Our Bastian Family Career Center provides developmental advising for students in all majors and throughout all four years. The Center sponsors career and graduate school fairs, maintains internship and job listings, and provides one-on-one guidance for students.
- The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) offers tutoring support for all students, hosting the Red Room evening tutoring sessions, geared to every discipline; the CTL also offers a wide variety of writing workshops to help students hone particular skills.
- Disability Support Services at Knox works with all students who have a documented physical or learning disability, collaborating with faculty and staff to ensure appropriate accommodation and support.
- Two special TRIO programs, the TRIO Achievement Program and the McNair Scholars Program, provide important support, guidance, and encouragement to underrepresented students, from their entry to Knox to their applications to graduate programs.
